Our host in Zadar gave us some incredible recommendations on relatively hidden beaches (Rozin Bok Beach pictured above) and must-visit restaurants in Old Town. The beaches here are mostly rocks & pebbles, but the water is clearer than anything we’ve ever seen.

We decided to take one more excursion before departing Zadar, this time it was a short jump down south to Krka National Park. Krka was a little like Plitvice (not quite the same degree of awe factor), but with the benefit that at the end of the hike you’re allowed to swim at the base of the main falls. Not a bad perk!

Our visit to Zadar was great, and we capped it off with an amazing dinner at 2Ribara (translates to 2 Fishermen) followed by a perfect send-off to this beautiful city.

See you in Dubrovnik!
